THE MISSION
The Mission if you accept it, is to move you and all your belongings to your new home with the least amount of stress while saving money. You will need to be equipped with the tools first though.
Tool #1 Be prepared: No one goes far in this game without a little preparation. Knowing your move date and taking care of things like keys and move in times will make you look like a pro. Remember storage units and condo's have rules and times that they want you to follow while moving. Try to get the best estimate you can, the more information of what we're moving the less chance of needing a second trip or more movers. Also knowledge of where you're going is always a plus.
Tool #2 Organization: It's important to know where things are going, and marking them well. The more organized you are the faster you will complete your mission. Packing with uniform and well marked boxes will assist in load and unload times. Clearing the path will help movers get things from one location to the next in record time.
Tool #3 Know you enemy: There are a lot of company's out there who claim to be the best of the best. Remember that the company may claim one thing but the movers are the true test. Be friends with the movers, they're not the enemy (office). They're there to help you and that is what they will do, utilize them wisely.
Tool #4 It's all in your hands. Now that you have the tools it's all up to you to utilize them. We'll bring our super human powers but if you're not prepared to save yourself there is only so much we can do. You've been warned
